Smith ------------ COLLECTION OF PALINDROMIC PLAIN MINOR METHODS ------------ January 2024 ------------ CONTENTS Introduction INTRO.TXT Single-hunt methods PPL6S.TXT Double-hunt methods PPL6D.TXT Alphabetical Index of Methods PPL6IND.TXT INTRODUCTION This collection contains palindromic plain Minor methods with one or two hunt bells and no bell making more than four consecutive blows in the same position. Unnamed methods are classified as Bob unless the classifications Place or Slow Course are shown in parentheses. Unnamed double hunt methods where the treble and tenor are both principal hunts have "alternate notation" in parentheses. This means that the same unnamed method appears in the list twice but may only be named once. Each method entry consists of an index number, the name, place notation and lead head produced. The index number is only significant within this edition of this collection. For methods with Plain Bob lead heads, the lead head produced is given by a code from the following table. Codes a - f are for seconds place lead ends and codes g - m for sixths place lead ends. For methods with non-Plain Bob lead heads the actual lead head is given. TABLE OF PLAIN BOB LEAD HEAD CODES ---------------- | Minor | |--------------| | a 135264 g | | b 156342 h | | e 164523 l | | f 142635 m | ---------------- Entries for methods which appeared in the Collection of Plain Minor Methods, 3rd edition, 2008, include a method number in a column headed PMM.
