Despite rainy weather, 20 members and visitors from Bushey, Southampton, Reading, Newbury, Thatcham and Bucklebury attended the Andover quarterly meeting held at Woolton Hill, which tower has a light six, on December 19th. A special feature was the carol service during which the carol "Ding, dong, merrily on high" was sung by the Andover quartet.

Mr. A. W. Alliston presided at the business meeting, when the branch annual meeting was fixed for Andover on January 23rd, and the next quarterly meeting on April 2nd at Abbot's Ann, with Amport and Thruxton. In the evening ringing took place at Highclere, and included touches of Double Norwich Court Bob Major and Cambridge Surprise Major.
